Winds: WSW-W 12-15. Forecast NW 4. 17m. Waves: knee high on sandbar only, tidal pools. Water: bands of salad 1/4 mile out, otherwise clear. Brought out new board. Can't go upwind as well with it. Did not take chances. Gusts managable. Wind shifts confused surf line.
